Thanks for visiting my website. I hope that you and your family are enjoying reading my books.

When I was child, my favorite time of day was when my family would read aloud together every evening. I loved how we could travel to new lands and places through the pages of each book. And I knew from a young age that I wanted to tell stories. Being dyslexic, I learned first to tell stories first through pictures. The words came later after a lot of hard work. That is why even today you will find that many of my book ideas come straight out of my sketchbook.

I am the author of the Mysterious Sightings series. Each of these books is about a unique and fascinating creature found by an equally unique and interesting kid, and set in a new state within the United States of America.

Besides drawing pictures or writing stories, I enjoy exploring new places with my family. I live with my viking husband and five incredible children in the state of Arkansas along with a menagerie of pets.
